Jade-mun abridge Jade's abilities for the canon-blind

Fon/fonist?
In Jade's world of Auldrant, it's basically the elemental particle that forms their magic and spells. A fonist would make that person a spellcaster.

In Audrant (their world), matter is composed of fonons. People who can control these natural elements are considered fonists. There are six types of fonons/elements: earth, wind, water, fire, light and dark. However, it's been "discovered" a new type of fonon (the seventh one), which have some special properties. For example, fonists who can control the seventh fonon can use regenerative abilities (healing spells). The seventh fonon also appears in a crystallized form, which is briefly shown at the start of the game, floating in the atmosphere (some of them fell down and you can see them later on). In these "rocks", there are some form of scriptures (namely, the Score), and only some people can read them. Through the Score, those special people can read the future. An organization named The Order administer the readings and distributes this knowledge to the community.

What kind of elements he can use?
His artes/magic/techniques can use the following elements:

* First Fonon: Shadow: Dark
* Second Fonon: Gnome - Ground
* Third Fonon: Sylph - Wind
* Fourth Fonon: Undine - Water
* Fifth Fonon: Efreet - Fire
* Sixth Fonon: Rem - Light

He has no artes and cannot control the Seventh Fonon, Lorelei or Sound. It is considered an unstable element due to it's healing/destructive/prophetic properties.

What weapons he used?
Jade is a spearman. He can handle physical ones, specially magically enhanced spears. On his right arm, he uses a Contamination Effect, so he could form one out of of his right arm within an instant he summons it. Therefore, he is never without a weapon and is armed with a spear on his right arm, at all times.

Why his eyes are red-tinted?
It's his fonic sight, which is an arte that amplifies a fonist’s ablities. By applying fonic inscriptions to one’s eyes–the greatest fon slot in the human body–a fonist is able to gather fonons at three times the normal rate and increase the strength of his fonic artes as well.

The side effects were deemed too dangerous. If an inexperienced fonist applies it, they could end up blind, or worse, dead. The arte also has a potential to go out of control–even when applied successfully, needing a limiter in order to keep it in check.

Jade's glasses acted as a buffer to control his abilities.
